On the arrival day, we had a welcome reception at the great AlpenGold Hotel Davos.
The next morning, we took the cable car up the mountain.
Alongside emperors, princes, and many other famous personalities, Thomas Mann also stayed at the Berghotel Schatzalp. It was there, at 1865 meters above sea level that he found the inspiration for his novel „The Magic Mountain“ („Der Zauberberg“). This historic hotel in this unique location is the ideal venue for truly exceptional incentive trips.
From there, we hiked up to Strela Alp for lunch with our group, where the hostess treated us to a delightful array of Swiss delicacies.
What a marvellous experience: Lama trekking with Balu (name of „my“ lama). Did you know that lamas can also be used for therapy purposes, for example with children and people with disabilities?
It was a great honor to be personally guided through the Davos’ Ice Stadium by Andrea Trepp, the Club President.
A few more site-visits and a short coffee break on the mountain before I flew back to Munich.
