Break the Ice Forum in Budapest – It’s always such a great pleasure to meet industry colleagues from all over the world and to get to know new ones! At the Break the Ice Forum in Budapest, I was fortunate to make many valuable new contacts with fantastic hotels, beautiful venues, and outstanding event service providers all over Europe.
A true highlight was the gala evening at the Hotel Matild Palace (The Luxury Collection by Marriott): The aperitif, accompanied by live music, was served at sunset on The Duchess Rooftop Bar with an amazing view all over Budapest. From there, we watched a spectacular drone show, a performance so captivating that half of Budapest watched from the riverbank below, which was exclusively choreographed for our group.
Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious dinner downstairs in the hotel, complete with a lineup of carefully selected artists who truly kept us entertained.
The one and a half days were perfectly organized and the on-site support was once again outstanding. Huge thanks to everyone who made this event possible – especially the amazing team from Continental Hotel Budapest and the Budapest Convention Bureau.
Since Budapest is such an excellent destination for events, I arrived a bit earlier to explore a few venues, including the Anantara Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest and the Parisi Udvar Hotel Budapest (The Unbound Collection by Hyatt), as well as several beautiful locations.
Special thanks for the charming private tour #TamasFazekas & #PeterLovaszSzabo – and for the coffee at the place o be: New York Cafe!
